HAPPY NEW YEAR MY SCARCE BUT FAITHFUL WATCHERS!!!! Um so maybe you've noticed that I'm really not using dA like I used to...truth is I've been way too busy to do much cosplay or writing or anything for a pretty long time, and I don't exactly get the same vibe from dA as I used to either. Eh... I'm still going to post here very occasionally, but for any of you who may or may not be interested, you're far more likely to find me on Tumblr and especially Twitter these days. I'd like to keep in touch with some of you over there, and of course a couple of you have my skype too or w/e. I'm gonna try and be on there more this year uuuuuuu. ...If I had a proper explanation as to why I've abandoned my DeviantArt for the best part of half a year, around now is probably roughly the time that I would give it. Unfortunately I'd be lying if I said I had one pinpointable reason for not being here, it's just been a mixture of lots of things. Schoolwork, massively, since I'm in sixth form now and that's pretty stressful in places, and then other things too, like changing interests, laziness, money...all sorts really. Now I'm thinking about it, laziness is probably the key one. Sorry.
If you still watch me even after all the abandonment, well, you're mighty fine. If you're reading this, thank you, it's nice that someone's still interested. Since you're here, maybe you could help me a little. Like I said, I think part of why I've been absent for so long is that my interests are changing a bit. I still like cosplaying, but because of time and money being saved for other things, it's been on the back burner for a while. I still like writing, but most of my ideas take months to finish, or even get round to at all. The only thing I've actually been doing more of recently is probably photography and some fanfiction for little-known fandoms (not that you'd be able to tell anyway since I never upload anything
). So... If you're reading this, please tell me! What would you like to see me doing more of on deviantart? It'd be motivating in a way to simply have some ideas, I guess. If I don't get any feedback from this, that's okay, but don't expect my activity to pick up any time soon. I uh....just was hoping for some small ideas, I guess. That'd be nice.
Another reason I'm writing this tonight is because I'm a hideous procrastinator. I have a biology exam first thing tomorrow morning, and if I'm honest, I'm more stressed right now than I know what to do with myself. I might do some more revision in a few minutes, but right now I'm hiding like the weakling I am. Also I like the sound of typing on my keyboard, it's comforting.
So, because I get bored and procrastinate, I'll treat you to a short update on my truly fascinating life. If you took the last sentence seriously in any way, you're an idiot. My personal experience of narcissists has been quite enough to put me off ever showing similar tendencies. *shudder*
So anyway, it's the end of the A-level exam season over here in the UK, near enough. I've got two more and then I'm done and wow I'm relieved about that. I didn't care about any of my exams except for one last year, an attitude I might not have had if my school had given half a shit about me. Anyway, I did kind of badly and that was that, but this year at my new school, I feel like I have a lot more potential, and at least in most of my exams so far, I feel like I've done okay. However, now that I actually care about these exams, I also get a lot more stressed about them. That's less good, but come Wednesday night, I can breathe out and relax just a bit at last. I'm looking forward to it.
I've been gaming quite a lot more recently too, and I regret nothing. The most recent new game I completed was Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, and wow. Just...wow. IT BROKE MY FREAKING SOUL. I know people say that a lot about games and TV shows and films but it honestly did. I cried myself to sleep that night and randomly burst into tears several times for about a week after. It's beautiful, I really recommend you play it if you can. I've also been replaying a couple of older favourites, like Majora's Mask and Wind Waker (both Zelda games), and they're brilliant exam de-stressers. I honestly don't know what I'd do without Zelda, it's been massive in my life for such a long time. ;u;
Uhhhhmmm... I've been exercising a little more recently, which is kinda nice in its own way. I'm disgustingly unfit, so it's hard work, but I've just gotten completely sick of feeling so squidgey, so I'm doing something about it, and I'm proud of that. I'm working towards an abdomen like Yohio's by the time summer comes round, if possible, and that brings me on to my next point. YOHIO. He's a visual kei star, but he's kinda unusual in that he hails from Sweden of all places. However this doesn't seem to have hindered him from essentially becoming visually oriental or becoming fluent in Japanese. He's seventeen, which makes his fame and abilities all the more ridiculous (he is also seriously incredible on guitar, you should look it up), and to be honest I could go on about him all night for one reason or another. I'm not going to, though, because I don't need to lose any more watchers. But honestly, he's really catchy and talented, I recommend you take a look. And as a final point of interest, he knows Gackt, and if you know me, you know that Gackt is the most important thing in my life, pretty much. Hence why I've been pretty upset recently at the tax evasion, embezzlement, and rape allegations he's been faced with. He's 39 years of age. He's a heavy smoker. He's 180cm tall but weighs only a few kilograms more than me. He's on his first national tour in four years and yet he's still staying up all night working on his new album, too. He's fainting after every show because he always gives too much because he loves his fans too much. I can't be the only person who therefore thinks flinging this kind of horse shit in his direction is exceedingly cruel. None of it is true, and it kinda upsets me what the tabloids are doing to him, because he's upset about it too, even if he's pretending largely that he's just deflecting all the blows, I'm pretty sure he isn't. So, I hope that clears up soon.

So hey you guys, it's nearly Christmas~! Are you all excited? I wasn't, as KyuketsukiKokoro will tell you quite happily...until just now. We just put our Christmas tree up, and oh my it's a lovely sight to behold. Yee hee hee. And now it's the weekend...! You have no idea how glad I am, god I've been tired this week. Unh ><
On the other hand, the less good thing about this weekend (at least from my point of view) is that... Well. About 20 miles away from me, BIGBANG are playing right this second, and they also will be tomorrow night. Unlike I had originally planned, I will not be attending, and why lie, I am pretty freaking gutted about that. But hey ho, you can't have everything, and I'm going to stalk them when I go to Seoul with university anyway, so... It's no big deal. I've been telling myself that all day. Maybe I'll start believing it soon. XD But on the upside, I'm going to go and see The Hobbit with my best friends in the world ever tomorrow night instead, so things might not be so bad after all. That's the hope. I love them a lot, and miss them, so it'll be nice. <3
Also, I recently met RiffRaffit at last, last Sunday...! She's probably my oldest dA friend, I've known her for...about two years now, I think? Overnight tonight would be fantastic, I'd buy the rights to go backstage with BIGBANG tomorrow night, and then once that was done, I'd go and see SHINee and mblaq and U-KISS and Gackt, and buy all the merch I could find. Then I'd buy a PSP and a Samsung Galaxy S3, lots of Final Fantasy, and all the Zelda games I don't currently own. And then I'd give a load of money to charities.

In light of some disgusting news I heard this evening, it might have to be the gun laws in the fucking United States. I mean, if that event hadn't skewed my emotions just now, I might want to change something else. But as it is, I just...it needs sorting out. How many children need to die before the fuckwits in your government take some proper action? They let this happen.

I'm British. Until May of this year, I was wearing uniform to school every day, from since I was about five years old.

Sometimes. It can fail pretty badly sometimes, though.

Me. Among other things, like a chair, CDs, a desk, boxes, speakers, bags, games... I have a bunk bed.

No. You can have crushes upon sight, but true love is long term, and two-sided, and it doesn't just - happen. And when it does, it isn't just based on appearance - physical, mental and sexual attraction are all important.

Lots of friend people, a whole load of Korean bands, Gackt, beds, blankets, hot chocolate, drawing, eBay, Zelda!

During the week, quarter to seven. At weekends, provided I'm not doing anything, it can be anywhere from half eight to half twelve.

I guess I'm pretty happy. I'm glad it's the weekend, because I'm exhausted from this week, and I'm definitely glad it's nearly Christmas. I'm pretty miserable about not being able to go to my concert, but I'm trying to just get over that. I'm also a little stressy over how my German teacher seems to hate me, but that can't be helped.

Definitely a night owl. Me and mornings are not good friends. We're not even on first name terms really.

Yup. And when I was in Year 7, I was the only kid in the class who could do it, and I was so proud. I don't remember why, but this somehow linked into a maths project that we were doing.

Yup! And my eyebrows are stupidly arched, so when I raise them I look really surprised. Just to give you a fascinating anecdote there.

Currently I have two goldfish, called Fizz and Taiyo. Taiyo's tiny and very round and adorable, and Fizz is much bigger and...let's be honest, a lot more graceful. I'd like a chinchilla, but I'm not allowed one...

I never pick up the phone. Like, ever. It's insane. If I ever do, I don't wait a certain number of rings, I just sort of spasm and do it whenever.

I don't know, really... I have a lot of good ones. I get sort of emotional about them sometimes... Hmm, let's see. I don't know if I have a singular best one, but one I've always remembered is definitely one from summer holidays spent with my childminder. I mean, all the summers when I was young have sort of blended together, but... Me and my two best friends, Adam and Megan, we'd go to the park with our childminder, and we'd run around and play on all the apparatus for ages, and then... On the other hand, the less good thing about this weekend (at least from my point of view) is that... Well. About 20 miles away from me, BIGBANG are playing right this second, and they also will be tomorrow night. So, in the last couple of days, I've been quite strongly reliving my adoration of the J-rocker known generally as GACKT. And I've been bumbling around the internet a fair bit, just sort of snooping out personal information on him, because I've been in one of those moods. Most of my watchers will understand; most of you are female, and thus know what great attachment to beautiful men is like.
...Well, anyway, I found out a lot of new stuff about him that I didn't know, which has been backed up in numerous places, like his own autobiography. It was interesting. However, as I continued to scuffle curiously through more recent news stories of him and gossip... I happened across some of the most dreadful sorts of horse shit imaginable. It was quite distressing.
Now, I am as well aware as anyone else that a gossip magazine's (or indeed a tabloid newspaper's) job is essentially to lie in imaginative ways to make it seem like there's more going on in life than there actually is. I know that. Honest, I do. But... There's a limit to how much pretend crap you can say someone's in. Little, unoriginal rumors which are blatantly untrue are ok, in a way. But... Something massively and disgustingly false which is potentially going to ruin their public image and career forever is just - wrong, right? Someone tell me if I'm alone in thinking that.
I mean, I believe that it's wrong. Maybe it isn't, I can't know for certain. But I found totally unsupported sources making the most horrendous accusations, and since I feel very strongly about GACKT, it kinda upset me. Like I already said, I know that media needs stories, and big stars like him are easy prey. But... They shouldn't be able to point fingers like that without proper evidence! Sorry, by the way, this is making barely any sense. I'm just quite pissed right about now, because it seems cruel to me that they'd hurt someone like this just for a story.

I have faith that the stuff I've read today isn't true, because I've found out a lot about his beliefs and his life from certified sources of information in the past, and I know that he isn't what these "information sites" are claiming him to be. Anyone else who knows GACKT reading this? Does he sound like the kind of man who would embezzle money from his own charity to you, or the kind of man who'd throw his "mistress" and "illegitimate child" out of the country? Does he sound like he's be in need of "Yakuza connections"? No. No he doesn't. Of course he isn't perfect, because nobody is, but he's not some monster, he's simply not. All you have to do is listen to his lyrics, or the things he tweets, or the things he tells his Dears, his fans. He doesn't say what he doesn't feel with his heart. And he's seen enough crap in his life to dissuade him from producing any more of it himself. It's ridiculous to try and tumble him down with stupid, stupid lies. I sound like a rabid and insane fangirl. I don't particularly care at this exact moment. But this is just like anything; you know things happen out there, but you don't really notice or care, until they negatively affect someone you care about. I am not amused, as an ex-monarch of my country might've said.

Well, really it's not any sort of new beginning, but I just feel that perhaps I should inform my few but beloved watchers that I NOW HAVE WIFI. Several millenia after everyone else, I know, but this is besides the point. XD The point is that now, with any luck, I'll be able to be a lot more active on DeviantArt, Youtube, Facebook, Fanfiction.net and whatever else, which is nice. If I'm feeling really adventurous, I might even set up a Tumblr or something. Anyway... Yeah. Up to this point, my communication with dA friends has been pretty absymal, but... NO LONGER. I'm so excited, having not been to Expo since last October... Yayayayayayyyy ^^ Anyone else going? MCM Expo London 2012?
